What is a physiotherapist?
Physiotherapists are “body specialists” trained to assess, diagnose, and treat physical disorders and movement dysfunctions. As health care professionals, physiotherapists are licensed by the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia, and they have also completed a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an accredited university program.
LVOSP physiotherapists have additional accreditations and specializations. They also complete professional continuing education to stay current with the latest treatment techniques and technologies. Check out the staff bios to learn more about their areas of specialization.
