David graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne, Australia. David played Australian rules football for five years at the state level (Victoria state) and reached the national professional league two years in a row. After finishing his playing career, David was team Physiotherapist for Collingwood Football Association, Australia's largest professional Australian-rules club. Prior to joining LVOSP in 2001, he traveled extensively as a working physiotherapist, including four years in London, England, where he worked in a private clinic on Harley Street, treating primarily West End musical theatre performers.

David is an accomplished manual therapist with a special interest in sports- and dance-related injuries. In his free time, he enjoys sailing, cycling and skiing with his family.
