Erin Browning B.Sc(Kin), M.Sc(PT), CAFCI, FCAMT

Erin has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from SFU and a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. She has an Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy and is certified to practice acupuncture by the Canadian Acupuncture Foundation Institute.
As a physiotherapist, Erin has worked with varsity athletes in numerous competitive sports, including rugby, track and field, wrestling, soccer, and softball. Erin has been a personal trainer and joined LVOSP as a kinesiologist before becoming a physiotherapist.
With each of her clients, Erin provides an individualized approach using a combination of hands-on techniques, acupuncture, and exercise prescription. She uses real-time ultrasound to help her patients visualize and correctly use their deep abdominal muscles. Such core stability retraining is especially valuable for post-partum patients, and for those who are recovering from low back or pelvic injuries
A lifetime resident of Lynn Valley, Erin went to Lynn Valley Elementary and Argyle Secondary. She enjoyed many sports including track and field, swimming, soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, kayaking, snowshoeing, running, and dance. She now finds most of her hobbies involve her busy family—snack time, walks to the park, naps, and playtime.
