Saranne Drew Dipl. Physical Therapy, RCAMT, CGIMS, Cert. Medical Acupuncture

Saranne is the founder of Lynn Valley Orthopaedic and Sports Physiotherapy.
Saranne graduated from the Bath School of Physiotherapy in England in 1976 and practiced physiotherapy in Britain and Switzerland, treating mostly ski injuries. She came to Vancouver in 1980 and worked at the then-Workers’ Compensation Board before purchasing a physiotherapy clinic in Oakridge. After making this clinic a success, Saranne started LVOSP from scratch. Her vision was to have an on-site gym where patients could do rehab exercises while being overseen by physiotherapists. The rest, as they say, is history.
Saranne is a member of the Canadian Manual Therapy Association (RCAMT) and is a certified Chan Gunn IMS Practitioner (CGIMS). She has a Certificate in Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. She has completed over 80 professional continuing education courses on topics such as manual therapy of the spine and peripheral joints, and on rehabilitation exercise. She has also completed courses on the sacroiliac joint, on muscle imbalance, and on exercise for osteoporosis. Saranne recently completed a course about women’s health and acupuncture.
Saranne combines her extensive knowledge in the treatment of her patients.
For a number of years, Saranne was a keen parent at her children’s soccer, basketball, and field hockey games, often treating injuries to the players on the various teams. She now has time to re-ignite her earlier passions for cycling and hiking.
